Thanks for the list. I just tried out TinyMCE Advanced and it removed that pesky font colour button so client can’t use it.
Role Scoper’s very useful if you need to restrict editors to one section of the website.
I’d recommend the Google XML Sitemap plugin.

Hi Kimb, thanks for putting your notes online.
You mentioned building a widgetised main content area using Query posts. Would it be possible to provide an example of code of how to do this?
eg: show 6 latest excerpts of a certain category.
Feel free to email or @jimcallender me.
many thanks, Jim

Thanks for the mention of WP Geo.
Literally just released an updated version, probably mid-way through your presentation at WordCamp UK, while I was sitting in on Mike Little’s “I’m a Scientist, Get Me Out of Here” presentation.
WP Geo now supports custom post types in WordPress 3.0 and provides filters for adding your own custom markers.

Hi,
Thanks for the mention of White Label CMS. We also have just updated the plugin as well, to include the ability to give editors access to the menus and widgets menus for WordPress 3.
How can I get to view your presentation? I am really interested in hearing about the commercial plugins, considering we also have a commercial plugin as well.
Cheers
