The October ‘WordPress Sheffield’ will be an informal bash

October 3, 2013 by Kimb Jones

WPSheffield website

The next WordPress Sheffield event on Tuesday October 8th will be ‘just’ a social gathering with no talks, presentations or speakers.

New strategy

This is all part of the new plan to alternate between more ‘organized’ events with quality speakers and topics and more informal get-togethers that are not only more inclusive but also allow extra time to plan the more structured events.

New awesome venue and topics

Head to the back room of the awesome Sheffield Tap at Sheffield train station where we’ll have a few tables booked out.

Topics of conversation will be general WordPress news, a post-WordCamp Europe review and a discussion between the WordPress Leeds and WordPress Sheffield teams about running a larger WordUp or WordCamp style event in the Yorkshire region.
