YouTube = $1.65bn

October 9, 2006 by Kimb Jones

Google just paid $1.65bn for YouTube.

Is YouTube worth $1.65bn? Is Google Video REALLY doing that badly? Is the future of tech business “If you can’t beat em’ throw $1.65bn at em’..”??

Maybe Microsoft should take a tip from Google and quit with the Zune. Hell, just throw a few billion at Apple for the iPod, I’m sure even Steve Jobs would break when the dollar bills started to reach his neckline.

Maybe then Sony could buy the Wii, GM could buy Toyota and Adobe could even buy Macromedia!

Shit, that last one actually did happen.
