Make Do phase 2 events
This is the first in a series of smaller, focused Make Do events that we have been planning for a while.

Make Do has moved away from providing pure training courses and will now concentrate on high-value interactive workshops run by top professionals on a wide number of subjects. These workshops will run independently and alongside our larger conferences and seminar events like DoerConf and The Digital Barn.
Making & Doing workshops/meetups
The first lot of these new Make Do workshops will tour the UK over the next 12 months starting in Leeds then branching out to Sheffield, Birmingham, Manchester, London, Bristol, Brighton and Edinburgh (not in that order).
They will all be workshop-style events and will be followed by an an informal evening meetup event I’ve tentatively titled ‘Making & Doing Meetups’ – think GeekUp meets SpeakTheWeb with added freebies, a quiz and prizes.
We’re still confirming venues, tutors and speakers so I can’t reveal too much just now but keep at eye on the Make Do website and twitter feed (@makedoin) and mailing list for official announcements.
